Under the Umbrella Tree is a popular children's television show that Noreen created, produced, and starred on as the puppet character Gloria Gopher. The show aired from 1986–1996 and was broadcasted by the Disney Channel, CBC, YTC, and Canal Famille.
The show uses humour to teach children lessons about life and the right things to do in the process of life. It stars Holly Larocque as Holly Higgins, and three puppets with no apparent relation to Holly (Gloria the Gopher, Iggy the Iguana, and Jacob Blue Jay) who help kids enjoy the process of learning about themselves and the world.
Under the Umbrella Tree consists of 280 episodes: 270 are 15 minutes long; the other ten are 30-minute specials. There are episodes about baseball, Christmas, singing, dancing, exercise, and various other activities.
Disney’s rights to the show expired in 2005 and since then, Noreen has teamed up with Cinerio Entertainment to sell episodes of the show on DVD.
