Noreen Young has the unusual ability to make puppets that look like real people. She works from photos of the subject to sculpt a caricature likeness that is instantly recognizable and amusing. Noreen’s caricature puppets have become a signature display in many Almonte businesses and storefronts. Her puppets make a great gift to honor special people or events. Each one-of-a-kind puppet stands about 20” high, has a flexible rubber face, is fully dressed, and comes with a wooden stand and a protective fabric cover. Ordering a caricature puppet To order a caricature puppet, please contact Noreen . You need to provide the following: 1. At least six photos of the caricature subject taken in the following poses. 2. If the subject wears glasses, one photo of the full face from the front without glasses. 3. Information (such as photos) about the subject’s typical clothing so that the puppet can be dressed accordingly. Providing more photos makes it easier for Noreen to create a good caricature. Depending on Noreen’s schedule, it can take from 4-6 weeks to make a finished caricature puppet. Photos of work in progress can be emailed to you upon request.
